The Socio-Economically Disadvantaged Groups (SEDG) is dedicated to empowering students from underprivileged backgrounds by providing equitable opportunities and a supportive learning environment. Our college is committed to ensuring that every student, regardless of their socio-economic background, has access to education and resources.
Initiatives for Socio-Economically Disadvantaged Students
· SC/BC Cell: Focuses on addressing the needs of Scheduled Caste (SC) and Backward Classes (BC) students by resolving their concerns and enhancing their growth opportunities.
· Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme for Minorities
· Consolidated Stipend Scheme for SC Students
· Lower Income Group Scheme
· Post-Matric Scholarship for Physically Handicapped Students
· Dr. Ambedkar Medhavi Chhatra Sanshodhit Yojna
· Relaxation for students who have graduated from rural schools during admission, as per the admission guidelines
· 5% relaxation in marks is given at the time of admission to the students who have passed their qualifying examination from the rural schools.

Dr Rajesh Kumar, Associate Professor, Computer Science is Incharge of BC scholarship committee.
Mr. Sunil Narwal, Associate Professor, Commerce is Convener of SC Scholarship committee.
